SALT LAKE CITY — There’s no fresh powder expected for some Utah ski resorts in the forecast, yet! It looks like the month of November may be leaving 2021 with no new snow.
KSL TV Meteorologist Kristin Van Dyke said no fresh powder just yet. “We’ll see hazy conditions continuing with more high pressure. Expect a high of 47 and low of 32 on Sunday.”
According to the Ski Utah Snow Report, Alta, Brian Head, Brighton and Solitude are the only ski areas opened at this point.
As of Saturday afternoon, Alta Ski Resort had a snow base of 31 inches. The current base depth is 31 inches. The resort has had no additional snowfall in the past 24 hours.
Other resorts Ski Utah reports might open soon include Park City opening November 28, Snowbird December 1, Nordic Valley is scheduled to open December 3, Deer Valley plans to open December 4, Sundance December 10 and Eagle Point December 17.
No opening dates have been announced for Beaver Mountain, Cherry Peak, Powder Mountain, Snowbasin or Woodward.
