SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — Police have found four missing girls taken from near their Daybreak home yesterday. The girls were found in California near San Diego and were unharmed.
Four girls taken from Daybreak home
The girls were last seen near their Daybreak home on Dec. 11 around 10:45 a.m. Their father reported them missing around 3 p.m. when they did not return home. Investigators believed their mother to have taken the girls from the home without approval.
The mother of the four missing girls who was a suspect in the Amber Alert did not have a scheduled visit when the girls were taken on Saturday, officials say.
Police believe when the girls left their home Saturday morning, their mother picked them up.
.@kslnewsradio Lt. Matt Pennington, South Jordan Police @sojopolicefire says they don’t have evidence of this but “the most likely scenario” is that the mom was communicating with the older daughter, Hazelle Brimhall, 12. Police say her phone is now off.
