SALT LAKE CITY — Utah singer-songwriter David Archuleta has announced the cancelation of his upcoming ‘OK. All Right’ tour due to vocal issues he is experiencing.
In a post on Instagram, Archuleta said the following:
“After lots of thought and consideration with my team and the venues, we have decided to cancel the OK, All Right tour. I am still healing from my vocal issue and it’s going to require a lot more time than I originally anticipated,” the social media post said. “I want to be sure to heal so I can come back without having done anything that could do permanent damage.”
Earlier this month, Archuleta took to social media to announce a show cancelation less than two hours before the start of the performance.
A day later, he announced that he was postponing his tour due to continued vocal cord problems.
“I am so sorry for any inconvenience this causes,” David Archuleta continued in his social media post. “I really thought the third time was the charm.”
Archuleta says refunds will be provided to all who had purchased tickets to any of his upcoming performances.
“My team and I are extremely sorry for the last-minute notice,” Archuleta said in his social media post. “And understand the inconvenience this may cause. Automatic refunds will be issued, please contact point of purchase with questions. I so appreciate everyone who bought a ticket and was willing to support especially after a difficult time for everyone including myself. Much love to all of you. (Korean heart)”
Archuleta did not reveal when he may return to performing.
