SALT LAKE CITY — A power outage that affected more than 6,000 customers in Salt Lake City has been restored. Rocky Mountain Power said the outage was caused by “animal interferences” but was not more specific.

SALT LAKE CITY — Rocky Mountain Power reports that 6,136 customers are without power in Salt Lake City.
The outage is affecting five schools in the Salt Lake City School District, which reports that backup generators are running and that the school day will continue.
