National Volunteer Month is an opportunity to recognize the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to tackle society’s greatest challenges, build stronger communities, and a force that transforms the world. Over the last few years, we have seen volunteers throughout Utah continue to show up for their neighbors.
Americans volunteer 8.8 billion hours annually to help organizations fill critical gaps in services for nearly every community in the U.S. Without them, many organizations and programs would not be around today. Over the last year, with Utah Gives Back we have highlighted organizations that provide access to housing, food, and other basic needs.
