MADISON COUNTY, Idaho — A judge has ruled Lori Vallow Daybell competent to stand trial in the murder case of her two children.

District Judge Steven Boyce ruled on her competency this morning. Vallow Daybell had been placed in a mental health facility in Idaho last summer.

Her arraignment is set for April 19 at 1 p.m. at the Freemont County Courthouse.

Meantime, she and her husband, Chad Daybell, are set to be tried together in the cases. Daybell waived his right to a speedy trial in the fall.
