Utah Jazz home games receive a big upgrade just before the playoffs

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz partnered with Digital Seat Media to enhance the fan experience just before playoffs.

Digital Seat Media installed over 18,000 tags in Vivint Arena. The QR code-enabled software allows fans to order food and drinks, buy from the Jazz store, and pull up a seating map.

This upgrade also explicitly benefits the Jazz’s other partnership, CoinZoom. Fans can scan the tags and download the CoinZoom app to get access to Jazz NFTs.

This is Digital Seat Media’s second partnership with an NBA team. The division-rival Oklahoma City Thunder was the first to add the company’s digital seat tags.

“Digital Seat is the perfect solution to support our CoinZoom partnership and their NFT offerings,” said Jim Olson, President of the Utah Jazz. “Their technology is very flexible and provides the Jazz a turnkey solution while at the same time enabling a foundation for bringing additional innovative and creative experiences to our fan base in the future.”

The tags are usable for all mobile phone brands. Fans do not need to download an app to use the tags either. The tags also provide access to downloadable coupons and offers, team roster and stats, and even Instagram filters.
