Utah leaders react to tragic Texas school shooting

SALT LAKE CITY — The tragic school shooting in Uvalde, Texas Tuesday that left at least 21 people dead, had many Utah leaders going to social media to share their emotions and thoughts on the tragic event.

In a press conference Tuesday evening, Texas authorities announced 19 children were among those who had passed away Tuesday. President Biden spoke to the nation asking for more to be done to end the violence. 

In Utah, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox ordered flags at all state facilities be lowered through Saturday.
