SALT LAKE CITY — Jen Shah, known for her appearance on the reality show “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City”, pleaded guilty to wire fraud charges Monday morning.

Shah appeared in court on Monday to change her plea to guilty. As reported by NBC News, Shah said she “knew it was wrong, many people were harmed and I’m so sorry,” during her court appearance.

In March of 2021, Shah was charged with conspiracy to commit fraud in relation to a nationwide telemarketing scheme. Her assistant, Stuart Smith, was also charged.

According to charging documents, Shah and Smith were involved in a scheme that cheated hundreds of people, many over the age of 55, out of their money by offering “business services.”
