SALT LAKE CITY — Severe weather made its presence felt in all sorts of ways around the state on Friday.

According to the National Weather Service out of Salt Lake City, various parts of the state got hit by wind and rain.

Friday’s severe weather also made traveling difficult, especially in northern Utah.

Friday evening, The Chicks were scheduled to perform at the Usana Amphitheatre. While the show went on as scheduled, it was delayed by about a half hour as severe weather passed through the area.

 

According to the KSL weather forecast, Salt Lake City and Ogden have a 70% chance of more showers on Saturday. Provo has a 60% chance of additional rain on Saturday. St. George has only a 10% chance of rain over the weekend.
