SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Transit Authority said that the TRAX trains impacted by an accident this morning are back to their regular schedules. The UTA advised that there will still be residual delays of up to 10 minutes.

The UTA had put a walking bridge into effect between the Temple Square and Arena stations on Thursday morning. A crash not involving TRAX blocked the intersection of 300 West and South Temple.

The northbound Blue and Green Lines from the Arena station and southbound from Temple Square were delayed as a result.

The Salt Lake City Police Department said there were no injuries and that both drivers were cooperating.

KSL NewsRadio’s Chris Jacobs reported from the scene and said authorities think a car ran a red light and crashed into another car.

One car was rolled over and the other had front-end damage. The photo below, taken by Chris Jacobs, shows the aftermath of the crash.
