14-year-old kidnapped out of Grantsville, later found safe

In a social media post, Grantsville Police announced 14-year-old Alexiz Linarez Jauregui has been found and has been reunited with her family.

GRANTSVILLE, Utah — Sergeant Watson with Grantsville Police Department said 14-year-old Alexia Linarez Jauregui, last seen Sept. 10, 2022, was kidnapped by two adults out of Grantsville. Furthermore,  the kidnappers are non-family acquaintances who intend to take her out of the state or the country. 

Linarez is around 4 feet 5 inches with brown hair and eyes. She also has a nose ring.

Grantsville PD says they are in a vehicle but the make is unknown yet.

Stg. Watson is asking for the public to keep an eye out and if they see her take a picture and contact the police.

A 14-year-old girl out of Grantsville thought to be a runaway is now being considered a kidnapping victim.

Alexia Linarez Jauregui was reported missing on September 10 in Grantsville. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and black jeans with rips in the,

Sgt. Jeff Watson with the Grantsville Police Department said they don’t believe the girl is related to the two adults she’s possibly with.

Linarez Jauregui is about 4 foot 5 inches with brown hair and eyes and has a nose ring.

Police don’t know what kind of car they’re all traveling in.
