Wheelchair Palooza at Woodward Park City

PARK CITY, Utah — From 4-8 p.m. today Wheelchair Palooza is taking place at Woodward in Park City. All those who signed up for the event get to attend for free. 

Wheelchair Palooza is an opportunity for the community to engage. Also, a learning opportunity for parents said Wasatch Adaptive Sports and Utah Adaptive Alliance in a press release. 

“Having the event at Woodward will help more individuals with disabilities break into the recreation community within Utah,” said Amanda King, founder of the event.

At the event parents that have children with disabilities can learn about sports, clubs, transportation equipment, and more.

Performing at the skateparks and teaching wheelchair users how to skate is Aaron Fotheringham, aka “Wheelz” from Nitro Circus. 

During the event, attendees can enjoy the free skateparks, bike lifts, and pizza.

The Challenged Athletes Foundation is helping sponsor this event.

“In partnering with organizations like Wasatch Adaptive Sports and Utah Adaptive Alliance, we help foster the growth of a community of people that connect and thrive through physical activity,” said Challenged Athletes Foundation in the press release.
