MILLCREEK, Utah — A motorcyclist was left in critical condition after a crash with a Jeep in Millcreek this morning.

Sgt. Melody Cutler with the Unified Police Department said the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was hit around 7:35 a.m. at the intersection of 4500 South 1100 East in Millcreek.

According to Cutler, the driver of the Jeep was turning behind another car and didn’t see the motorcyclist.

The driver of the Jeep stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the police. The motorcyclist was taken from the scene in “extremely critical condition,” Cutler said.

Westbound traffic on 4500 South was closed between 1300 East and 1100 East in Millcreek due to the crash.

Cutler said police do not suspect any impairment of the driver at this time.
