SALT LAKE CITY — After a long countdown on the Training Table website for an announcement, the wait is finally over. The beloved Utah restaurant will reopen its doors following its 45 anniversary.

As of July 21, 2022, the website had a countdown of 78 days with a cryptic message saying “Tasty things coming soon.”

The announcement comes after the restaurant closed its doors nearly six years ago. You may recall a standout feature of the restaurants before the closure; landline telephones next to each table used to order.

The webpage says the outside of the establishment may look different, however, the restaurant’s mission remains the same, “we’re here to serve the community, to bring people together and to help make memories for generations to come.”

Additionally, the website says that Training Table food trucks will hit Utah’s roads in the upcoming weeks.
