Fall is here, and while many people have their minds on changing leaves, sweater weather, and pumpkin spice lattes (admit it, you love them), sports fans are gearing up for another kind of autumn tradition: tailgate season.

Tailgating is a fun way to get hyped for a game with friends and family, and it can be a great way to make new friends, too.

8 Delicious Tailgate Foods for People in a Hurry

But what about those game days when you’re pressed for time?

Here are 8 quick, fabulous tailgate foods that require zero prep work. This way, you can arrive at the game prepared without all the stress.

1. Rotisserie Chicken is one of the best tailgate foods

Nothing says ‘game day’ like a warm meal before the game.

A rotisserie chicken is one of the best tailgate foods because it’s a quick, easy way to bring warm food without spending tons of time in the kitchen. Just make sure to pack it in an insulated cooler with a heat pack so it stays warm.

Pair your chicken with a pasta salad or fresh veggies and you’re ready to go!

2. Popcorn attracts friends at tailgate parties

If you need an affordable snack that feeds lots of people, popcorn is the way to go.

Not only is it delicious and filling, but it doesn’t cost much to feed a lot of people.

A giant bag of pre-made popcorn is a great item to have on hand if you’re hoping to socialize with other groups; there will be plenty to share!

3. Chips & dip is the crowd-pleaser of tailgate food

Everyone loves a good guacamole, salsa, or ranch dip.

Buy your favorite dip and a few bags of chips, and your snack is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Or, surprise your friends with a unique flavor, like chipotle bean dip.

(Psst: Dip is messy! Don’t forget to bring napkins).

4. Keep it classy with a tailgate charcuterie board

Who said tailgate foods aren’t high-class?

Design your own charcuterie by picking up some pre-sliced salami, snacking cheese, grapes, cream cheese, jalapeno jelly, and crackers.

Pro Tip: Afraid your charcuterie board will spill over in the chaos of a tailgate party? Snag some Rubbermaid Take-Along containers for easy storage.

5. Hot cocoa and apple cider keep everyone warm at a tailgate

Already own a 5 gallon water cooler? Fill it with hot water and bring some apple cider or Ghiradelli hot cocoa mix.

Pick up some fleece blankets and clearance gloves while you’re at the store, too. You’ll be the hit of the party!

6. Beef jerky helps you fuel up for the game

Everyone loves beef jerky. It’s delicious and filling, and sure to provide enough energy to cheer for your team on game day!

Fuel up with some Tillamook hardwood smoked jerky or jalapeno beef sticks before the game.

7. No tailgater goes hungry with to-go snack packs

If you’re really in a hurry, these are the ideal pick. Grab a few snack packs with cheese, nuts, and fruit for a truly fast, no-prep snack.

These are easy to pack and carry in a backpack for when you’re on the go. Plus, they come in a 3-pack if you’re extra hungry or want to share.

8. Feed multiple tailgaters with a whole quiche

You’ll have to pop this one in the oven before you head out, but once baked, a quiche is an easy meal to transport and keep warm.

Don’t worry–you don’t have to bake this one from scratch. Pick up a La Terra Fina Spinach & Artichoke quiche from the frozen aisle and the rest is history.
