3-year-old Hurricane child no longer missing says DPS

HURRICANE, Utah — The Utah Department of Public Safety says a 3-year-old child is no longer missing after allegedly being abducted by his non-custodial parents.

Utah Department of Public Safety reported Giles Missing Thursday afternoon.

According to Hurricane police, Giles’ non-custodial parents were ordered to return the missing child to his biological mother on Nov. 14, 2022, which they failed to do. Police said that attempts to locate the non-custodial parents and Giles had been unsuccessful.

The non-custodial parents were identified as Steven C. Giles, age 43 and Wacey Giles, age 32. Police said they believed the two have been in Nevada or Arizona.
