SALT LAKE CITY — The National Weather Service said some drivers can expect light snow during their evening commute on Wednesday. Drivers in the Tooele and Rush Valleys, the northern Wasatch Front, the Salt Lake Valley, and Utah Valley are all expected to be impacted by this snow.

The advisory extends through 2 a.m. Thursday. The NWS said between 1 and 4 inches of snow are expected from this storm.

Drivers should expect winter driving conditions, and plan accordingly.

The storm on Wednesday night is the beginning of a snowy weather pattern that is expected across Northern Utah through next Tuesday.

Snow is expected to fall again on Friday night. We’ll get a break on Saturday, but more snow is predicted Sunday and through the beginning of next week.
