One of the responding officers caught up to the suspect. However, he was able to climb over a fence and dropped down a 20-foot wall.

Additional resources including a helicopter were called in to look for Haynes. The helicopter spotted Haynes on a rooftop in the area of 36 E. 200 North.

After two hours of communicating with police, Haynes came down off the rooftop. He was safely taken into custody, and taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
