MIDVALE, Utah — Mega superstar and Utah local Post Malone greeted fans, took pictures and even answered a question or two outside his newly designed Raising Cane’s restaurant in Midvale Thursday morning.
“Posty” as his fans call him, cut the ribbon on his one-of-a-kind, and purely “Posty” designed pink restaurant on the corner of 700 E. and Ft. Union.

“There’s some really cool stuff inside,” he told fans, some of whom waited overnight to catch a glimpse. “We put some armor in there, some old stinky outfits that I wore on tour, and for events, and guitars and such,” he said.

The CEO of Raising Cane’s, Todd Graves, told the crowd that he and Post had been friends, and met because they were fans of each others’ stuff.
“I was a super fan of his music, and he was a fan of my chicken fingers,” said Graves.”On that first night, we just really made a great friendship.”
Graves says he knew he was going to be good friends with Post that night.
“I’ve known Post for a long time, and one of the real reasons I’m proud to say he’s my friend is he’s the same guy this whole life,” Graves said. “Humble, kind, hardworking, good to people. I’m just really proud he’s my friend.”
