Murray police investigating stabbing that left two men hurt

MURRAY, Utah — The Murray Police Department is investigating a double-stabbing that took place Tuesday night and left two individuals with injuries to their hands and arms.

According to a press release from Murray police, the incident happened in the area of 5300 S. 580 West around 9:40 p.m. Two men walked into a Holiday Gas Station and mentioned they had been stabbed with a knife by an unidentified assailant.

Police say the two victims were walking back to their hotel when they claimed to have been assaulted.

Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital where they were treated for their injuries. They have since been released from the hospital.

Police say the suspect is described as a white male, between 5-feet-9-inches and 6 feet tall. The suspect was wearing a gray hoodie, a black medical mask and had green curly hair.
