EDEN, Utah — One family was evacuated Wednesday night following a mudslide that hit their home.

David Reed, with the Weber Fire District, says emergency personnel responded to the mudslide near 2600 N. Viking Drive.

Reed says there is water coming down the mountainside. Crews are trying to find a way to divert the water.

He has it will take a couple of hours to get under control. Additionally, Reed says more evacuations will be issued as needed.

More information will be provided as it becomes available.
