BOISE, Idaho — An Idaho jury has found Lori Vallow Daybell guilty on all charges, including murdering her two children, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow. Her husband, Chad Daybell, also stands accused of murdering the children.
The jury also found Lori guilty of conspiring to murder Tammy Daybell, who was Chad’s first wife, and guilty of grand theft by deception.
The verdict comes after weeks of testimony from law enforcement, friends and relatives of the victims, and several forensic experts.
Testimony revealed details of Tylee, JJ and Tammy’s final days. Friends and family took the stand several times, often becoming emotional as they described lies and red flags from Lori in the time leading up to and following each victim’s death.
A mountain of evidence from the prosecution pieced together a picture of premeditation and intent.
All three victims were killed in 2019, in the time leading up to Lori and Chad’s Hawaii wedding.
Tylee is believed to have been killed at 16 years old, weeks away from her 17th birthday. JJ Vallow was 7 at the time of his death.
Tammy Daybell was 49 when she was killed.
Chad is charged with the murders of Tylee, JJ and Tammy but likely won’t go on trial until 2024.
