SLCPD investigating after two bodies found inside an office complex

SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating the deaths of two people on Saturday. Their bodies were found inside an office complex in the area of 3000 S. Highland Drive.
According to a press release from SLCPD, police were notified of the incident at 11:14 a.m. when they received a call about a body being found.
In the investigation, law enforcement personnel conducted a welfare check at a house in the area of Sunnyside Park.
Police say, at this point, there is no threat to the community.
According to the news release, the cause and manner of death will be determined by the Office of the Medical Examiner.
Additionally, the identities of the victims will not be released until the next of kin is notified.
On Sunday, police said no additional updates on the investigation until the autopsies are completed.
