SALT LAKE CITY — President Trump’s commission investigating alleged voter fraud has asked states for extensive voting records. Several democratically controlled states have said no. Utah Lt. Governor Spencer Cox talked about it on KSL’s Doug Wright Show.
“We are learning more about the commission, we don’t know what kind of authority they have, but we do look forward to sharing our story with them and making sure the record is set straight,” he said.
Cox said any driver license or social security numbers will not be shared, but voter rolls are public in Utah.
He also said he has confidence in the integrity of the election system.
