MURRAY — Utah lawyers are gathering to help our first responders put together legalized wills for free.

Christine Poulson, with the Springville Police Department, asked the program “Wills for Heroes” to visit Utah County about two weeks ago to help the officers there. She said quite a few couples showed up, eager to legalize plans that would take care of their families if something happened.

“Anything can happen,” Poulson said. “Life can change in a matter of moments for these guys.”

The events are open to all first responders and their spouses. The next one is scheduled at the Murray City Fire Department on October 14th.
