PARK CITY, Utah — In the near future, you might be able to purchase Town Lift Plaza or Deer Valley Resort in a game of Monopoly.

Hasbro, the maker of the popular board game, has announced Park City will be getting its own version of Monopoly.

“Every family has stories about Monopoly,” said Aaron Green of Hasbro. “They have fights about Monopoly. They fight about what piece and token they choose.”

Green says the game is meant as a tribute to the historic town.

“We’re here in Park City to celebrate the best that you have to offer,” Green said. “Whether it’s restaurants, landmarks, ski resorts, mountain peaks, trails, your favorite little dive bar, your favorite steakhouse, we want all those things to be on Park City edition Monopoly.”

Green says the Park City version of Monopoly will be out in late January or early February of next year.
