“JanaLee is incredible. She has taught for many years and loves her students. She is the leadership and dance instructor at Manti High School. She strives to do everything possible to include everyone regardless of circumstances. She is an advocate for those who are often misunderstood. She makes her classroom a place where students feel valued and cared for. She has a passion for Dance and loves to help her students find their passion. She works hard and covers many expenses from teaching out of her pocket. The one thing that sets Janalee apart from other incredible teachers is the incredible effort she brings to create opportunities for them to perform and learn; she has written plays, dance recitals, field trips, carried out performances, and found and carried out opportunities for her students to learn and serve. I love her tenacity. If things need to be better, she doesn’t wait for someone or something to change; she IS that change and will move heaven and earth to help her students be the best they can be.”
