PLEASANT GROVE, Utah — The lawsuit between Taylor Swift and Utah’s Evermore theme park has been dropped.
Documents filed in Utah District Court say that the suit has been “Dismiss[ed] … in its entirety.”
A spokesperson for Swift told Rolling Stone, “As a resolution of both lawsuits, the parties will drop and dismiss their respective suits without monetary settlement.”
The suit was first brought against the singer in February after the surprise release of her album ‘Evermore’ by the Pleasant Grove fantasy theme park of the same name.
In that court filing, lawyers for the park argued that the album created, “actual confusion” between their park and the album and was an infringement on their copyright.
They were seeking $2 million in damages for every piece of Swift’s merchandise it believes was inspired by the park.
Swift’s team argued that the park had not suffered any damages due to the album and countersued the park in late February saying they had been using Swift’s songs without permission.
