SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City Fire (SLC Fire) officials said that automatic sprinklers did a lot of the work when a fire broke out in a downtown Salt Lake City apartment unit on Saturday.
Captain Anthony Burton with SLC Fire told KSL that their crews were involved in a salvage operation due to water damage, in an apartment on the fifth floor of a structure at 308 W. North Temple.
Because the sprinklers took care of the blaze quickly, Burton said they have some investigating to do to determine a source.
Nobody was injured in the blaze.
