SALT LAKE CITY — In June, Congress is scheduled to be briefed on a Pentagon report detailing sightings by the U.S. military of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) or UFOs as part of the 2021 Intelligence Authorization Act.
But are they seeking answers or seeking money?
Recently on the TV show 60 Minutes, Navy pilots Cmdr. Dave Fravor and Lt. Cmdr. Alex Dietrich told how they witnessed something “unsettling” and unexplainable while flying over the Pacific Ocean in November 2004. Fravor said he saw a “white Tic-Tac-shaped object just kind of moving above the whitewater area” southwest of San Diego. It mirrored the trajectory of his F/A-18 fighter jet.
“When it gets right in front of me, it just disappears,” Fravor said.
Seconds later, the USS Princeton reacquired the object about 60 miles away.
The Pentagon also released video of UAP. The Defense Department in August 2020 established — and publicly revealed — the UAP Task Force.
“What is true, and I’m actually being serious here, is that there are – there’s footage and records of objects in the skies, that we don’t know exactly what they are,” former President Barack Obama told USA TODAY.
“We can’t explain how they moved, their trajectory. They did not have an easily explainable pattern. And so, you know, I think that people still take seriously trying to investigate and figure out what that is,” Obama stressed.
Writer Jason Colavito explains to Inside Sources host Boyd Matheson why the recent government report on UFOs is not all it’s cracked up to be.
“The same group of people keep cycling through the government’s periodic interest in flying saucers and UFOs and what have you,” Colavito said. “It all kind of goes back to the middle-20th century at a time when there was a huge flying saucer boom. The Air Force had a major investigation of the flying saucers called Project Bluebook.”
Colavito said the same group of people “at the behest of a very wealthy hotel magnate named Robert Bigelow,” started to investigate “whether space spooks from another dimension we’re filtering into our reality through a hole in the sky in a ranch out in your state of Utah called Skinwalker Ranch, which is now the site of a History Channel reality TV show.”
“What we’re seeing on Capitol Hill now is only a very small part of that overall investigation — the part that they want you to see because it’s the part of it sounds reasonable, while behind the scenes all that crazy stuff has been going on for decades,” Colavito said.

It would be easy to write Robert Bigelow off as an eccentric. He gave $3.7 million to the University of Nevada Las Vegas to establish a “consciousness studies” program that taught classes about life after death. He gave an estimated $10 million to fund the now-defunct UFO-hunting National Institute for Discovery Science. In 1996 he bought a 480-acre Utah cattle ranch that some believe is the site of an inter-dimensional doorway used by alien shape-shifters and stationed watchers there.
The Skinwalker Ranch is south of Fort Duchesne in Uintah County in Utah.
Bigelow, the Las Vegas real estate magnate and UFO enthusiast, bought the property for $200,000 in 1996, according to Las Vegas Sun.
Terry Sherman became so spooked by the happenings on Skinwalker Ranch that 18 months after moving his family of four to the property to sold the parcel to Bigelow. Sherman reported seeing lights emerging from circular “doorways” that seemed to appear in mid-air. The Shermans relate their interactions to Deseret News.
“You brought in this little interesting Utah connection in terms of the Skinwalker Ranch,” Boyd said. “There’s also an interesting connection with former Majority Leader and Democratic senator from Nevada, Harry Reid, who got intertwined with some of those fundraisers and some of those lobbyists and campaign donors.”
“Well, exactly because Harry Reid has known Robert Bigelow for a very long time. He thinks he’s brilliant,” Colavito said. “[Reid] became entwined with that idea of the Utah Ranch space spooks and was impressed enough by the idea of beings from other dimensions filtering in through the sky and what have you that he helped to initiate the funding for the program that eventually became that UAP unidentified aerial phenomenon research that we’re hearing so much about in the news now.
” It started out as a way of funneling cash to Robert Bigelow to hunt space spooks,” Colavito said. “It turned into the stuff that you’re hearing in Congress demanding answers about right now
“All of the stuff that is happening right now, all of these stories that are breaking about UFOs in major media, trace their roots to Las Vegas. And it’s because of [former] Senator Reid and Robert Bigelow,” said George Knapp, a Las Vegas journalist and UFO investigator, according to the Las Vegas Sun.

AATIP was led by Bigelow Aerospace, based in North Las Vegas and steered by Robert Bigelow, whom The New York Times described as “a maverick Las Vegas real estate and aerospace mogul with billionaire allure and the resources to fund his restless curiosity embracing outer and inner space, UFOs and the spirit realm.”
“There’s also a pattern to this that is deeply disturbing to me,” Boyd said. “It has nothing to do with UFOs or extraterrestrials. It has everything to do with how influence peddling happens in our nation’s capital.
“Just as Jason described, you have some well-funded people who are looking to make more money, who are influencing members of Congress and members of committees and members of government agencies in ways that will profit them. That is not about our national security, not about keeping us safe, but is about them making more money in their particular field.”
