Correction:  Dan Workman, the owner of Identity Graphx, donated the re-wrap to the owners of the World Famous Yum Yum Food Truck. We apologize for the previous reporting that stated otherwise.

LAYTON —  The World Famous Yum Yum Food Truck just got a gift from Utah Jazz star Jordan Clarkson after their tuck was vandalized with anti-Asian graffiti

Clarkson, who is the only current player of Filipino descent in the NBA, has offered to pay for repairs caused by the vandalism,  including cleaning.

“I was so excited like it just completely melted my heart,” Erin Cotter told KSL Newsradio. She does marketing for the Filipino food truck.

Cotter says the Utah Jazz also offered to have them come sell their food at games next season and gave them tickets to Thursday’s playoff game against the LA Clippers.

“I cannot believe how nice people are being,” Cotter said.

Clarkson took to Twitter saying he was deeply hurt by the recent vandalism of the food truck.

The owners of the food truck expressed more of their gratitude on Instagram.

“I really can’t describe how much this means to us right now. I am overwhelmed that in the midst of playoffs #jordanclarkson took time to support our food truck and is having the wrap done on our truck. Having our truck be wrapped by him means so much to us and we will wear it with pride.”

Layton police are still looking for the person or people responsible for spray painting the truck.
