Missing person Susan A. Lavender found safe by police

SALT LAKE CITY — A woman reported missing and endangerd in South Salt Lake has been found safe, police said Wednesday.
Since being found by Unified Police, Susan A. Lavender, 57, has been transported to the hospital for observation and treatment.
Lavender went missing around 1:45 PM Tuesday afternoon when she left Avalon Valley Rehab Facility at 2472 South 300 East. The South Salt Lake Police Department confirmed her last known location is the rehab center.
Lavender is described as special needs, in that she is bi-polar and schizophrenic.

- 5 foot 6 inches in height
- 150 pounds
- Brown eyes
- Brown hair
- White
Lavender is also described as walking with a limp and has a history of hitchhiking, according to SSLPD. Her home is located in South Salt Lake.
She was last seen wearing grey sweatpants and a grey sweatshirt.
