SALT LAKE CITY — The case against Lori Vallow Daybell, who is accused of murder and conspiracy in the deaths of her two children, will be able to move forward. A judge ruled yesterday that Daybell is competent to stand trial.

The case had been on hold since early October but the details around that delay are under court seal.

It’s the second time the case has been delayed for a competency review.

KSL NewsRadio previously reported that Lori Vallow Daybell has pleaded not guilty to two felony charges in the death and disappearance of her  children, 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow, and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan.

She and her husband, Chad Daybell, have pleaded not guilty.

There’s no new date yet for their trial.
