The new 2022 Huntsman Mental Health Institute annual report

SALT LAKE CITY — Today, Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI) released its 2022 Annual Report

The report aims to highlight the work done by the Institute’s 1,644 medical faculty, staff, students, and trainees.  The work that HMHI calls “groundbreaking and critical”.

In total, during 2022, HMHI said they saw 16,847 unique patients with 63,045 visits in total with more than 20 locations across Utah and Idaho.

HMHI also reports treating patients who came in from 48 different states. Treatments include suicidal ideation, major depressive disorder, opioid dependence, eating disorder, and more.
