SALT LAKE CITY — While we’re still enjoying season three of “The Mandalorian“, there is a lot to look forward to for “Star Wars” fans, especially for young fans. Next month, we’ll get a new series. It’s called “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures“. It debuts on Star Wars Day, May 4, and features Jedi younglings learning the ways of the force.

On the same day and also on Disney +, “Star Wars: Visions Vol. 2″ is released. “Visions” is a collection of nine anime shorts featuring animation from Japan, the United Kingdom, South Africa and more.

Then in August of this year, the beloved character Ahsoka gets her own live-action show on Disney+.

Not only does actress Rosario Dawson return as the title character, but Hayden Christensen comes back to the screen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. Fans are counting down the days until that one.

Also scheduled for late summer/early fall is the new series “Skeleton Crew” starring Jude Law. This show has been described as “the Star Wars universe’s Stranger Things.”

In 2024, we can look forward to season two of “Andor”.

Also next year, the first Star Wars series focused on the Sith. “The Acolyte” will debut on Disney+ and tell the story of the rise of the Dark Side of the Force.

Finally, on the big screen, we learned this month that actor Daisey Ridley, who plays Rey Skywalker, will reprise that role in an upcoming movie yet to be named. This post-Episode IX film is set in an era called the “New Jedi Order”.
