Battalion Chief Dan Walker says the initial fire was at 740 S Kilby Court, and then two other buildings on either side also caught fire.
“There were no injuries…no one was displaced, all three buildings were considered vacant,” he said.
The building is said to be a former residence. The concert venue is directly east of the fire, but it was not involved.
Chief Walker says a Gold Cross ambulance crew was driving by and called it in. The structure was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived.
