Wasatch Front getting smoky from wildfires
Jun 27, 2017, 10:15 AM
SALT LAKE CITY — The winds shifted and are now coming from the south, and that is bringing smoke to the Wasatch Front.
KSL meteorologist Grant Weyman says people had been asking what was wrong with the sky Tuesday morning because it looked eerie and kind of orange.
“Up to this point, the winds have pushed the smoke into different directions. I think this is the first time we are noticing it here,” he said.
Weyman said it could also be smoke from other fires but of course, Brian Head is the big one. And don’t expect relief from the weather, which will be breezy and dry all day.
