PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Fire Department responded to three structure collapse calls due to heavy snow and ice build-up.

On Gorgoza Drive, a garage collapsed, and on Norfolk Avenue, a chimney collapsed this morning.

The newest collapse occurred around 1:30 this afternoon on Park Avenue. The fire department is asking the public to avoid the area at this time.

Currently, at the third collapsed structure, firefighters are making entry to search the home.

According to the PCFD Facebook, the callers did not report injuries at either of the locations.

The fire department encourages you to look at snow and ice build-up at your residence.

“Please be aware of roof avalanches. Don’t take chances, keep your home and surroundings safe by clearing away the snow and ice accumulation.” Chief Pete Emery
